Woman in Ellettelle white linen dress From the founder and creative designer:

Ellettelle began as one woman's passion. A passion that has been growing since childhood, ever since being a little girl I laid eyes on a fashion magazine. I always knew I was impassioned by clothes and fabrics, but in the beginning took the route of modeling the clothes on the runway and for the pages of those magazines.

My heart would skip a beat every time I'd get to wear linen, perhaps because it reminded me of home, my native country of Belarus, where linen grows naturally. I always believed it was a national treasure, but not appreciated enough locally.

I started traveling around the world from very early days, and knew I belonged elsewhere. When I first came to America, I instantly fell in love with the land of the free, and ever since 2008 I've been proudly calling this land home. The country where any dream can come true, made me believe in myself and take the leap into designing my first collection.

It was clear from the start, it would be linen, exclusively linen. Not only because it was my heritage, but also because it was reminding of those summers spent on the Mediterranean coast where linen is ubiquitous, and is a signature of coastal chic. Also, having become a mother, like for many of us, our focuses shift, we tend to lean towards everything more natural and organic. And linen is just that. It lets your skin breathe and gives you freedom of movement. Not only are we tired of wearing itchy polyester all day long, but we are also concerned of the footprint it leaves on the planet, making the piles of textile waste grow tremendously worldwide. Linen comes from the earth and goes back to the earth with no traces left. And that is priceless.

Ellettelle was launched in 2021, it is still a baby.  It is only with your help, love and appreciation, that we will be able to make our first steps, say our first words, and grow.

(Quite the opposite of the clothes I design,)

Born in Europe, handcrafted in California,
